UT vs. North Texas - Too bad QB's can't use the number 45

Alright, Longhorn supporters, both amongst my Kool-Aid Gang contributors and other devoted readers. I'm experimenting with something new for this 2006 UT football season as they defend their National Championship. After each game, a link will be up to a blog post where we can have a central forum to yell, cry, rejoice, etc. Any of the Kool-Aid Gang contributors can be the first to post about the game. I'll go in later and link it up on the sidebar.

As I like to keep this blog relatively open to all, Aggies and other UT haters can feel free to throw in their jeers on the comments section, as well. Just try and keep the language relatively PG-13, and don't try and get too personal. This should be fun!

From ESPN:

It was over when... Limas Sweed scored on a 60-yard TD pass from QB Colt McCoy. The Horns started fast and never looked back.
Gameball goes to... Colt McCoy. The redshirt freshman had a big game passing: 12-for-19, 177 yards, 3 TDs, no INTs. Oh, and he rushed for 38 yards and another TD.
Stat of the game... 197, 212: Balance -- Texas threw for 197 yards and 3 TDs, and rushed for 4 TDs and 212 yards.
