At first I thought this was an answer to Scratch's prayers. Just substitute a PBR for the Asahi, and he'd be in beer heaven. But then as I thought about it, he could have probably downed the entire six pack in the time it took for this robot to pour one. Oh well, at least the Japanese have their priorities straight regarding robot development.

Beer foul!

I was pretty underwhelmed. It did take far too long to pour, and it put on a head of foam half the height of the mug, and then spilled it!
This is what it needs.
* It needs to be mobile, so it comes to you.
* It needs to be able to sense when your beer is getting low, and then come refill it.
* It needs to shut up! What is the Japanese fixation with cutesy?
* It needs to be able to serve cans and bottles, because Shiner Bock doesn't come in cans.
* It needs to know how much of a head to leave depending on the type of beer (i.e. very little for a pilsner, more for a stout)
* It needs a concave head to hold a bowl of nachos, pretzels, or popcorn.
It just so happens that the same day I wrote this, I go to my brother's house and what do I see? Shiner Bock in a can.
Well, I stand by everything else I wrote.
