It is always fun to have new balls.

I know that not all are sports fans, but all have shot a basketball at some point in history. Spalding and the NBA have changed the design of the basketball that we grew up with. I think it looks pretty cool.

I actually read about this awhile back. Instead of leather, the ball is actually made out of some new synthetic material that's supposed to provide better grip. Shaq and other prominent professional hoopsters, though, have publicly voiced their disdain for the new ball. According to Shaq, "Feels like one of those cheap balls that you buy at the toy store, indoor-outdoor balls." It'll be funny if his free throw percentage dramatically goes up next season.

Well, at least the PETA folks should be happy.

I don't think I ever lumped Wander together with Scootypuff's disdain for sport. After all, wasn't it Wnader that put up that post about Texas Tech coach Mike Leach awhile back? Then again, I never came to his defense either.

The guy lives so close to Denver--how could he not be obsesseive about sports? That's like growing up in West Texas and not liking football. Oh wait--that can actually happen...

Actually, I kind of think it's ironic that the one guy that actually participates and excels in sports (considering tae kwon do a sport) as an adult is the one person who hates watching sports.
