Evil In The Name Of Good

It came to my attention that a certain Star Wars fan who blogs here was unaware of who exactly the 501st Legion are. They are not only the worlds largest costuming orginization, but they have also won many awards for their charity and civic duty work. They are the Stormtroopers you see outside Star Wars premiers, and they are also the same Stormtroopers who visit the Childrens Hospital here in Denver, and around the world, once a month. Denver hosts one of the largest chapters in the world actually, and that includes the chapters that represent entire countries like Germany and England. I see them literally all the time, and drive home next to a member with an Imperial symbol covering the back window of his Corvette and a 501st bumpersticker almost everyday. I took for granted that everyone knows who they are. In fact, the picture to the right is of a friend of mine in the 501st Mountain Legion. The entire 501st is an amazing organization, and it grows exponentially yearly. Why am I not already a member? I'm a lazy, lazy man.

Yeah, I think its just a thin veiled preparation for the Empire to take over the Earth.

Seriously, though, I want to know who these guys are in the Monaco outpost. Seems unfair to be walking into a Monte Carlo casino with a Sith Lord outfit on.

Sith Lord: I have a full house.

Dealer: You have a full house.

Sith Lord: You don't have the cards you're looking for.

Dealer: I don't have the cards I'm looking for.

Sith Lord: Sith Lord wins.

Dealer: Sith Lord wins, Sith Lord wins.

What I wonder is, are you kicked out of the legion if you're a good shot? Because the ones in the movies...
