So any one else have a 7-11 store near them being transformed into a Kwik-E-Mart for The Simpsons Movie release? I drive by one to work every morning, and lo and behold they were putting Bart and Milhouse up when I went by today! I guess the change is total inside and out, but not every store is doing it. I'll stop on my way back home and get more photos (this photo isn't mine, but it sure as hell looks like our foothills in the background).

Kewl. I haven't been into a 7-11 in years. The last one I shopped at was in Taiwan of all places. Kwik-E-Mart sightings--I'll have to go look around town today.
So much for getting a Squishee at the Kwik-E-Mart. Only a dozen 7-11's around the country were fully converted, and I guess Wander was lucky enough to be close to one of 'em.
Look for them in New York City; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Burbank, Calif.; Los Angeles; Henderson, Nev.; Orlando, Fla.; Mountain View, Calif.; Seattle; and Bladensburg, Md.
Oddly, none of the Kwik-E-Marts are in a Springfield.
Haven't been to a 7-11 in years? Good grief man. That is almost criminal. ABout 2 years ago they had a thing with the slushee and itunes. To commemorate the "something significant" anniversary of the slushee they gave away one free itunes song with every purchase. I had a heyday getting slushees during that time.
Turns out the one I saw yesterday isn't getting the full treatment, but is getting a partial conversion. I guess they remain a 7-11 but have Simpsons signage and swag out the wazoo. I did however get the adress of the full on changed one in Denver and plan on going Saturday! I'm going to ask the clerk for a six pack of 'Skittlebrau'! And when he says in an Apu voice "I'm sorry Homer, but such an item does not exist." I'll reply "Then just give me a six pack and a bag of Skittles." Man, I can't wait!
I'm going to complain that someone cleaned the grease trap from the hot dog machine and now you can taste the hog anus.
