The Dallas Cowboys just signed a punter to an $8.5 million deal over five years. A punter! You figure he's not even out on the playing field enough to break a sweat during practically any game, and he's going to make $1.7 million a year.
I am truly in the wrong line of work.

Field Position!!!!!!! wins games. Wouldn't you pay around $106,000 per game to increase your chances to win a game. Just think that if that paid off in three games. That most likely would put you in the playoffs where you probably easily make $5000000.
I would agree with you that you're in the wrong line of work if you could actually kick a football.
Nah, I would have public kicking tryouts before I paid a punter that much money, just on principle. Kind of like American Idol, but for football.
And Firecracker George is right. I can't kick a football. Usually, when I try and punt, the ball ends up sailing over my head behind me. Good field position--for the other team!
