I know 2 people at Celebration IV this weekend. I can't wait to see the goodies they bring back. When the first Celebratrion was in Colorado Springs, I could barely fit all my swag in my car for the ride back at the end of the weekend. I never did post about it as I planned but I'll say it now. Friday was the 30th anniversary of the release of Episode IV. Can you imagine a life without those movies? Or the people we would be without them? What kind of childhood we would have had without the toys?
I can't, and I don't even want to try.. We had them, still have them, and will always have them. Thank the Maker!

So is the Clone Wars a movie that all get to see, or is it just for the Celebration.

It's a television show that will hopefully premiere next year. It will be interesting to see what network gets this.

Considering Cinemax premiered the HD version of the 6 movies, and had them all playing all day long on the 25th (30th anniversary day), I am of the opinion that the live action shows will be a premium cable only show (a la The Sopranos) either on Cinemax or HBO (who owns Cinemax now).
That's the forth coming live action series. As for the Clone Wars, I have heard real buzz that it will be on the new Adult Swim network starting later this year. For any who don't know, at night right now Cartoon Network becomes Adult Swim and has the best animated shows on TV (sans The Simpsons). But Adult Swim TV (the full 24 hour network will have the new episodes of Futurama, feature syndicated Family Guy's and Simpsons, and have upwards of 15 new shows I read. And one was heavily hinted to be the Clone Wars animated series. Considering the first Clone Wars series was on Cartoon Network, and this new one is rated pg-13, it certainly makes sense.
