Remember the glory days of the 80's when high body count action flicks ruled the silver screen? Oddly, this new trailer for Sylvester Stallone's upcoming Rambo sequel looks kind of retro in this day and age:

Careful where you aim that Jeep-mounted machine gun...

The 80's action flicks weren't that gruesome. They were more 'sanitary' with their killing.
This one is however more realistic, I think, particularly the way he just splattered that guy in the jeep with the ma-deuce.
You know, weird as this may sound, I think this one looks a little more intelligent than two and three, which were silly as hell.
I just watched Rocky Balboa a few nights ago. It was pretty good, although I think he should have done a little more with it.
That really is the bloodiest trailer I've seen. It can't be for showing before Harry Potter or some other summer movie.
Not saying I didn't like it. Saving Private Ryan showed us all long ago that we're basically just hamburger held together by a very thin casing, but that really was almost over the top. What are the scenes they didn't show like?
That truly is not an 80's action film. Ed Meese would have shat puppies and died!
