Great-a Scott-a!

To think I thought Heroes was moving a bit slow when it premiered. I was jazzed by the mention of the Alamo Drafthouse last night, although I guess Harry Knowles at Ain't It Cool News thought it was pretty cool, too. This guy puts on the annual Butt-Numb-A-Thon at the original Drafthouse in downtown Austin where you basically sit in the theater for 24 hours straight watching cult movies. I could think of a quite a few other things worse than sitting in a theater eating good food, drinking Shiner Bock, and watching movies for a day.

Anywho, I noticed the Drafthouse has expanded quite a bit with four locations in Austin, and even a couple of theaters in Houston. Maybe that would compel your dad to venture out for Casino Royale, Scootypuff. Nothing like an ice cold beer to spark some spontaneity!

I think he's cutting open their brains, studying them to see what's "broken", and then altering his own brain architecture somehow. Maybe he has the ability to alter his neuronal connections in order to awaken powers that are inherent in all human beings?

I think that he is simply consuming their brains to gain their powers. I don't think that he has a power to fix what is broken, I think that is a skill of his watch making. I think that his power is sensing other mutants (Mohinder's dad refered to mutation killing his daughter), and then stealing they're powers by eating their brains.

It's like Peter Petreli's, but permanent and tastier.

Oh, and the old man had plenty of chances. I went and saw Casino Royale on Sunday. Great flick, great freakin' flick. Finally, they're subsituting good story and character for dodads and misogyny.

Well, I figure if you prepare your Pops now, he might be ready to see the next Bond film in two years.

Oh yeah, you think he's just plain eating the brains? Ick! Wouldn't all the DNA and the genetic mutations they hold just get destroyed by his gastric acid? Hmmm...or perhaps all these mutants are powered by prions, and he's just getting infected with them, like mad cow disease.
