In response to Swany's last post.

I saw this a few months ago on my favorite way to goof off at work, the Onion.

At first I laugh at it, then it makes me a little nervous. 2000 already demonstrated that who receives the most popular votes is moot.

Actually, the U.S. Constitution demonstrated that the popular vote count is moot way before the 2000 election.

And given our current capabilities, I think it's time to ammend the Constitution and eliminate the electoral college.
