I've gotten over the disappointment of the Cowboys loss from last week, and can laugh at videos such as this. Who knew Hitler was such a diehard fan?

I guess there's always next year...
Dallas is winless in the playoffs for the 12th year in a row? Has it really been that long?

Maybe he was better off as Homo after all...
I happened to listen to some of the pre-game radio commentary for the Cowboys game while I was driving around Dallas, and the word was that no one, players and fans alike, seemed all that excited about today's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. So I guess it shouldn't shock anyone that Dallas lost 10-6 today. This is December, after all, and this team is known for their late season collapses going into the playoffs.
Romo finished 13-of-36 for 214 yards, with a career-low rating of 22.2. It came in front of his parents and his newest A-list girlfriend -- Jessica Simpson, who tugged the front of her pink No. 9 jersey, then mouthed the word "Romo!" when cameras spotted her. For what it's worth, Romo's previous worst rating came last December against Philadelphia when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was here. The post-game radio call-ins from fans seemed to make it sound like they wanted Jessica Simpson run out of Dallas and banned from anything remotely related to the Cowboys from here on out. I sort of feel sorry for the girl, but then again, I kind of find Jessica Simpson annoying anyway. She seems kind of desperate to latch on to any famous guy these days, and milk it for publicity.

Someone might want to check up on Wild Willie...
(AP Photo/David Duprey)
After the disappointment of a close Longhorn loss to OU this past weekend and the end of this evening's insanity of a Cowboys game, I'm afraid Wild Willie might be passed out somewhere after depleting his body of adrenaline.
It was inevitable that Dallas was being set up for monumental failure tonight based on the extremely heavy amount of hype that was being piled upon them and Tony Romo. Who knew it was going to look as disastrous as this though? After throwing his fourth interception in the second quarter and watching backup quarterback Brad Johnson getting his helmet on, I was ready for Drew Bledsoe to revive the TonyHomo.com blog.
Gotta hand it to the Cowboys and Romo for keeping their composure and squeaking out a win, though. That or you have to believe that the Buffalo Bills are REALLY bad. Actually, I'm voting for the Bills and REALLY bad. I don't think I can easily recall a team recovering six turnovers and not winning.
Perhaps it's time to take up a new spectator sport. One that doesn't stretch the emotions quite so far to the extremes. Maybe curling. Or the WNBA.

We are kickers, we kick ball...
The Dallas Cowboys just signed a punter to an $8.5 million deal over five years. A punter! You figure he's not even out on the playing field enough to break a sweat during practically any game, and he's going to make $1.7 million a year.
I am truly in the wrong line of work.

Can the voters call a mulligan on their Pro Bowl selections?
Just when it seemed like the glory days might be slowly creeping back to Big D, the Cowboys perfect their skills as choke artists, losing in a complete shocker to the Seattle Seahawks by a point.
I had been reserving my judgement on Tony Romo, but after tonight, I will now adopt the most un-PC name for him--Tony Homo. In fact, a blog of this title written by benched quarterback Drew Bledsoe already exists (and is quite funny).
Disclaimer: My apologies to the gay and lesbian community for grouping Tony Homo in with you all by using the term "homo" in such a derogatory manner. But let's face it--today, Romo really is a Homo.
