Reading something about Comic-Con led to an article about shoes inspired by video games (check out the Street Fighter Dunks). This got me thinking about some sweet kicks that Firecracker George had. Turns out Reebok is set to release the Reebok Alien Stomper in two new colorways in Fall/Winter 2010. A quick search turned up Alien Stompers in all sorts of colors, grey/red, blue/white, black red, all gray, and reflector. I still like the classic grey/red.

The difference between then and now is that in today's fashion world, these shoes would probably be considered quite cool in the big city hipster crowd. I guess Firecracker George was way ahead of the fashion trends. Waaaay ahead.
You'll find that to be the case, most of the time. Ir just takes awhile for the world to catch up to my vision.
